Did someone say BACON?!!! O_O

As the snow drifted down unto the warm and toasty house, the gleeful family inside chatting and laughed away to the stories told of Christmases before. The tree was decorated with tinsel and lights, stockings were hung above the fireplace, and presents were passed around with smiles galore. But there was a sound, a very small sound that not a one did muster. Nobody, in fact, but a mouse in a hat, who came out of its hole to see all the luster. Poor Mommy yelled loud, and climbed on a chair because of such a fright. Daddy went after the scared little mouse, but little Timmy was saddened because of this sight. He said, “Daddy, Mommy! Don’t hurt the mouse. He just wants some cookies, please let him stay in our house!” Daddy pondered a bit, and was about to capture the mouse, but then he turned to see tears in his little boy’s eyes. He said, “Now how can I say no my one precious child? I’ll give him some crumbs, and let him stay inside.” Mommy came down from her perch, still unsure, but the boy started glowing, so happy to see. The mouse ate some crumbs, and Mommy said, “Well I’ll be!” When she saw the mouse curled up on little Timmy, fast asleep with a full tummy. Timmy tired out too, and fell asleep with the mouse on his head. Mommy and Daddy, seeing them both fast asleep, turned out the lights and carried them both to bed. The long day was done, and Santa was on his way, as the two little souls simply dreamt away.

I had fun writing this one :D (And look it rhymes! ^_^)
