For an action game, I found that there's quite a bit of disturbing things in it. One example being some of the zombies you kill are still human, they're just being controlled by headcrabs. Another example is the entirety of Ravenholm. I'm not sure if the minor horror elements enhance or detract from the overall experience, but either way Half-Life 2 is still a pretty good game in my opinion.

Half Life 2 zombies are scary as crap in ravenholm. I've still never played through ravenholm, yes... I'm a coward... you can stop laughing now. Other than ravenholm the game isn't that scary, I don't know what they were thinking when they made ravenholm though sheesh.

Nah, I wouldn't wanna see HL2 over all other things out there, but if sinu feels like playing it I will watch

It may be because im so used to half life or strange things but i went through the whole of half-life 2 on xbox (the orange box) and didnt flinch. i didnt react to ravenholm at all. I found it quite fun xD using the gravity gun and throwing saw blades at the zombies.

Since i didnt even realize how the lever could be scary does that mean i should be worried about my mental health?

I dont hate horror games and such, films i do but games no i just have bad images when i go to sleep which the games probably affect but i dont care im used to all the images otherwise i wouldnt have played half the games i have played

might be just me, but, the library level in halo really reminded me of ravenholm. Maybe it was the inspiration for that level in halo, either way poisonous headcrabs are stupidly scary .

I need to go back and play half life 1 and 2. I don't remember them well. :/
