Why do so many people hate The War Z? I don't see anything wrong with it, it has a lot of potential I'll give it that but what's with the rage? It has nice graphics (it's not awesome but it's not crap either) and you can beat up zombies with a flashlight (who wouldn't want to beat up a zombie with a flashlight?). I swear I'm missing something here and it's probably really obvious too.

Ah, That makes sense now. Maybe if the developers had agreed with each more then maybe they would of made a really cool game. Being able to buy things and then just lose them?... Pointless. I can see why people are raging now, Thanks for the reply.

In my experience playing it, I had a great deal of fun, and although the game would be far better with these advertised qualities, I feel it's just right for what it is. A game that's basically just gotten out there and has bugs, that will hopefully improve with communication between players and developers. They messed up with this advertising issue, and made it worse with how they handled it, but I'm not going to allow that to determine if I enjoy a game.

Sometimes it's best to go into a game with a clear mind, although it is difficult considering the many forms of bias that pop up all over the Internet.

Avoiding people's comments about the game before you play it is advised since if you read all the negative things about the game then that's all you're going to think about when playing it. So like seth said, it IS good to start a game with a clear mind.

A large part about WarZ is how little they actually did to make the game. If you look it up yeah they gave out a lot of false features at the start. They banned people for critisizing the game and various other things. The games actual terms and conditions is a copy and paste of the LoL terms and conditions, some of the images and promo things are copies. I found it not to long ago that one promo picture had many zombies which were copied from the walking dead. Link below

So thats a few images and also in my gaming course since we will be using cryengine eventually some people could actually see that most of the coding and things in the game are default for cryengine. So its like they took cryengine, slapped on a few textures and sold it as a game.

i would probably try the game for myself but with all the bugs and what not ive seen i dont think its much worth it. Its been removed from steam due to alot of players wanting it removed.

so yeah thats my view on it

I encourage you to take anything Kotaku says with a grain of salt, they're not a very reliable news source.

Well what kotaku has said has gone with my friends sayings in the class of my course so it must be somewhat reasonable.

It could of been a good game however the developers were just not co-operating. Is it still available to buy? As in, not by steam? (I'm not going to buy it, just want to know.)
